The home is located in an industrial area. Hence the design approach was to create an intorvert house where the swiming pool with its  double height volume becomes the heart of the home.

 

It adds value visually and climatically by increasing humidity, therby decreasing tempreature and acting like a heat sink. Public functions from all spaces be it kitchen / dining / livng / guest bedroom etch all spill out into this common space.

This simple intervention makes the house an ideal vacation home for the entire extended family of kids and grandkids a pleasure for the grandparents how reside here.
