Kindergarten Office
The existing office was a financial services office designed with plywood veneered partitions, dual tone polished mouldings in the classic 90s style.
The project was to retrofit one of the partner’s cabins in the center of the office that would reflect his personality which was radically opposite of a formal tight collared button down shirt and in this case opposite of the straight lined, opaque partitioned cabin culture.
“I feel too cramped up here and I enjoy being happy like a 3 year old!” that was the client brief.
What followed was inevitable. A fun environment filled with bursts of colours and shapes that give an impression of a kindergarten classroom as opposed to a boss’s cabin opened up with irregular glass fenestrations that expand the confined space.
