PROF. P C MAHAJAN FOUNDATION
An experimental township measuring 38 acres for displaced farmers at the outskirts of Khargone, MP. Each plot of size 2 to 10 gunthas of farmland to be provided with a cow as a startup facility.
The township was planned with open grazing spaces for the cattle and residential development as clusters. Each cluster to have common community space in addition to the individual farmlands.
The streets were designed in three categories – for vehicles, pedestrians and for cattle – the grazing strip along which would guide the cattle to their grazing grounds without being intersected by vehicular streets.
